Positive: A very well presented apartment in a quiet area with tasteful furnishings that felt like a cosy little home away from home. Location was excellent - close to the township on one side & the train station on the other. Pubs are only the shortest of walks away for drinks/food. The area is just so pretty - our only complaint is that we didn't stay longer. Negative: That our stay was too short.

Filthy and disappointing Positive: The location was great and free parking nearby. The property has massive potential but from my own experience and I would advise anyone to avoid it. Negative: Place was filthy and smelt musty as soon as we opened door. Was really disappointed with our stay. The bedlinen was clean but that's where the good parts ended. It needs a through deep cleaning throughout including entrance hall which had an awful smell. The headboard in bedroom was particularly unpleasant. I contacted the owners and they apologised and nothing more. £400 to stay in a place like this was not what I had planned for this weekend away. No offer of compensation or anything. Avoid

Charming but not the cleanest Positive: It was a beautiful apartment, decor was charming and the bed was so comfy. Location was perfect and the fire was a lovely touch. Negative: It wasn’t the cleanest place I’ve stayed in. Cobwebs in the bed room, there was pots and pans in the cupboard that had dried in food stuck to them, dust on the drawers and hairs in the shower. Felt a bit uncomfortable because I wasn’t confident in it being cleaned properly prior to arrival. There was also road works throughout the night where they were digging up the street so didn’t sleep the best but this can’t be helped as it’s the council.

Chilled stay in comfortable, homely apartment. Positive: The moment you enter the apartment you sense the warmth and homely feel. The apartment is equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. The decor and furnishings completely compliment the age and style of apartment and its lovely to see original features. Headboard on bed is stunning and bed so very comfortable. Shower amazing and hot water plentiful. We've stayed in Dunblane on numerous occasions and the location of this apartment is fabulous. We love a wood burner but on this occasion, didnt use as weather very mild. Communication with host was brilliant from start to finish. Yes, access stairs can be tricky for some, however very common in buildings this age. Not putting in as a dislike as although hubby and myself have a few health issues we managed fine and wouldn't deter us from booking again. Very enjoyable, chilled couple of days away. Negative: Nothing we didn't like.

Very nice for the short stay and beautiful surroundings. Don’t miss the walk along the riverside. Positive: Very good location. Nice colors inside. Quiet. Very nice bed and bathroom. Negative: A bit of a mould-smell in the entrance (only street level). No written instructions at all. Missed the digital manual before arriving, just saw the videos and didn’t find the wifi code.
