Modern Comfort in Historic Callander

Good option for central Callendar Positive: Generally this is a nice flat in a great location. The bedrooms and living room were nicely furnished and comfortable and the bed linen felt clean. The owners provided a helpful and slick online information pack before we arrived and responded to questions in advance of our stay promptly and helpfully. Negative: There are some aspects of the flat that are a bit tired and in need of maintenance, especially in the bathroom. The kitchen was not spotlessly clean - e.g. there were some crumbs in the cupboards. The welcome pack consisted of some milk and a few teabags and coffee pods, but the milk was several days past its use by date. Overall, I wouldn't complain if the stay had been cheaper, but for the price I expected a bit better.

Positive: L’emplacement. Réactivité des gérants. Negative: Pas propre. Sol collant, miettes sous tapis et sur canapé, salon poussiereux… avec des enfants en bas âge ce n’est vraiment pas agréable. Il faut payer le lit bébé (en 4 semaines de voyage c’est la première fois… aberrant.) 30 livres sans matelas ni draps etc…

Great location and comfortable stay Positive: Perfect central location - and always managed to park outside. It was quiet being at the back of the building. Very well equipped kitchen was a plus - as was the welcome pack of washing tablets, olive oil and milk! Beautiful little town with loads to do around it - Loch Venachar was a hidden gem! Negative: It's not a fault but just to be aware as an old building, the stairs to bedroom are very narrow and steep - and low ceilings in the bedroom

Positive: This flat was very central in Callander main road. The room were comfortable and very clean. If you want to hike the hills around Callander this is the ideal stepping place. Negative: The bedrooms were in the converted attic so the sloping roof was a risk of hitting ones head.
