Modern Comfort in Historic Callander

Positive: Central location and felt very cosy Negative: Due to the blues and jazz festival there wasn't outside parking. We found a space a few streets away.

The front door lock needs replacement. It is EXTREMELY problematic, sometimes taking a full 5 minutes of jiggling and tugging to unlock it.

Very well situated, equipped and comfortable.

Fantastic apartment Positive: Ideal apartment for doing the Rob Roy mighty hike. Fantastic location with plenty of shops, restaurants & bars. Great transport links. Local scenery is stunning. Negative: N/a

Good option for central Callendar Positive: Generally this is a nice flat in a great location. The bedrooms and living room were nicely furnished and comfortable and the bed linen felt clean. The owners provided a helpful and slick online information pack before we arrived and responded to questions in advance of our stay promptly and helpfully. Negative: There are some aspects of the flat that are a bit tired and in need of maintenance, especially in the bathroom. The kitchen was not spotlessly clean - e.g. there were some crumbs in the cupboards. The welcome pack consisted of some milk and a few teabags and coffee pods, but the milk was several days past its use by date. Overall, I wouldn't complain if the stay had been cheaper, but for the price I expected a bit better.
