Loch Tay, Estate House with Panoramic Vistas

Great views, accommodation needs to improve Positive: Location and views are fantastic and this house. Negative: It's got the potential to be a great holiday house, but it seems to have been neglected and there were so many broken things and issues on our stay that it didn't justify the price paid. We arrived to a broken and wedged open bedroom window and a blocked drain from the fridge that was leaking over the kitchen floor....both issues took us time to fix before even starting to think about enjoying our holiday. To be fair, within an hour a maintenance man arrived to look at the window post-fix and repair an external door that was broken and a bathroom light switch that needed held in to work, but by that stage we could see many other "snagging issues" that even the very helpful maintenance man wasn't going to fix on his own quickly on a Friday evening. However there were so many other issues with the property including the downstairs bathroom having no running water in the sink throughout the stay (not great if you have mobility issues and that's the only bathroom you can use...blinds that would not open, bathroom doors without locks that also wouldn't shut, oven not working at all, 6 wine glasses for a 12 person house, pans provided that don't work on an induction hob, no teaspoons, filthy garden furniture with no cleaning materials for us to clean ourselves, the list goes on... We've given the property owers detailed feedback so that they can hopefully fix these for future guests but clearly the maintenance team and cleaning team will have been aware of at least some of these issues (even without staying in the property many issues like leaks, jammed open windows and no water in sinks, should be quickly obvious). Unfortunately the cumulative impact of so many large and small issues detracted from what should have been an enjoyable family birthday celebration weekend.

Positive: Amazing views. Spotlessly clean and great communication. All bedrooms are a decent size and loads of room for 12 adults to stay. Will be back

The house is amazing,comfortable with lots to do in games rooms and plenty space that we enjoyed.Host was kind,friendly and always available to call.The garden and outdoor space was fab and we felt safe to allow the kids their own freedom.We loved your holiday home
