High-End Apartment in Georgian Building by Holyrood Park

Positive: Lovely and cozy apartment, close to Arthur's Seat. The hosts were very responsive and kind, all the facilities made our stay easy and comfortable. ❤️

Unfortunately, the property felt unmaintained and lacked functional basics, so we'll be booking else Positive: We were able to do our washing and dry clothes in preparation for our continued jury. Comfortable lounge and seating are, nice kitchen. Overall communication and video walkthrough was of a good standard. Negative: First of all, it’s extremely difficult to find parking if you have hired a car, secondly, there was boxes and some rubbish around the bottom floor entrance prior to ascending to the first floor, made for an initial impression. When providing cooking utensils the owners need to know what works and doesn’t on their stove top, non of the frying pans worked with the cooker only two pots. Tea and coffee provided in large glass containers was questionable as the sugar had crystallised, we wouldn’t touch it. There was a water filtration container provided but, no date of filter replacement so, no idea if it was serviceable. Bed is extremely soft causing partners to roll to centre. Bathroom is poorly laid out, everything gets wet as there is no shower curtain and the screen is quite small. The bathroom mirror is barely hanging on to the wall which is probably the reason it has been previously broken, towel warmer was working on arrival but seemed to stop after the first day. The door handle on the master bedroom came off completely causing some stress in vacating the room. Wall thermostat is broken also so we could only rely on the plug in heaters. Unfortunately, if I we were to return for another holiday in Edinburgh, I feel we would look elsewhere for something that was more accessible.

Excellent apartment stone's throw from Holyrood Park Positive: Great accomodation, lots of space, really nicely laid out apartment with excellent self-catering facilities. Spitting distance from Holyrood park which was wonderful. Decent TV. Negative: Only that the bedroom doorknob needs reattaching properly! 😄

Positive: Limpio, cama cómoda, amplio, con todos los detalles para pasar una buena estancia y ubicación estupenda, a 25 minutos del centro. Check in fácil y fluida comunicación con él personal via e-mail. Negative: Nada que objetar.
