Quiet intimate flat to enjoy Leith/Portobello. Positive: the renovated flat is rather tiny and intimate but does not lack charm, in a very quiet and likeable area of Edinburgh, just on the corner of the Leith Walk, a few steps from a nice cafe and from Pilrig Park, and with a Sainsbury close by. Unfortunately a fire blocked Prince Street during our stay so we could not use the tram to move around. There's a toilet and a separate shower, and it's very quiet. You can walk to the Leith Waters and through there get to the Shore on one side and to the Contemporary Art Museum and Botanical Garden on the other. Negative: the bed is not king size, and I bumped my head several times in a box on the wall by the toilet door. The kitchen is rather basic and knives need sharpening. If you like TV, there's a small and scarcely visible monitor. If you objecy or dislike pot, there's a penetrating smell of joints being smoked a few times a day. Unfortunately we didn't get any invitation.

Positive: Location was quiet, good, clean , had all basic needs including a washing machine. Kitchen had all utensils. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, access to public transport to the city center. Negative: Spiral, narrow stairs. Wifi internet was not working due to accidental pull out of wire. Not adequate clear instruction about the fridge that is hidden inside a door on top of washing machine..Realize rates were too expensive for what wad all that was available.

perfect place for a couple of days in edinbrugh Positive: it was just what we needed for our 4 night stay. cozy and comfy. it was right near a park and the leith walkway. also super close to the tram station that takes you to the center of the city and directly to the airport. loads of shops and coffee, or breakfast places around. it was exactly what we needed.

Loads to do in Edinburgh and apartment was ideal base Positive: Main plus was location for city centre and other attractions using the tram, the tram stop was 2 min walk at end of street, we used train to travel to Edinburgh then straight on tram no problems brought a weekly tram ticket, it was quiet at night not on a main road and felt safe. shower was lovely and hot and powerful kitchen is well equipped. Loads of supermarket convenience shops really close buy Tesco and Sainsbury’s etc. if we return to Edinburgh will look at booking again Negative: There’s a lot of key safes on door frame for different apartments and the one flight of stairs up to the apartment were curved round bit awkward with Cases
