Beautiful Holyrood Park Apartment -Near Royal Mile

We enjoyed our stay very much. Our first visit to Scotland, Edinburgh is a beautiful city and very easy to get to from t Positive: A lovely little apartment. Very clean and comfortable. Negative: Entrance hallway and stairs very gloomy needed decorating

Positive: Het appartement was zeer schoon. Negative: De prijs was veel te veel. Entree zag er niet uit, rook niet fris. Niet veel restaurants in de buurt.

Comfortable apartment suite in an older building near Holyrood Palace Positive: Spacious apartment, very clean and comfortable. Fast wifi, plenty of towels, washing and drying machine in the apartment was a huge plus. Responsive staff, ok distance from city center (30 minute walk or so). Lots of windows meant lots of light. Negative: Hallway is quite rundown, smell of mildew. Bathroom kind of small but this seems to be the theme with these apartments. Still quite a distance from city center. Outside area didn't look that great. The contrast between the apartment and the hallway was startling.

Positive: Matratze war gut Negative: Sehr kleines Badezimmer mit einem winzigen Waschbecken. Armaturen im Badezimmer defekt.Verdunkelungsrollos defekt. Wohnungstür nicht abschließbar. Geschirr war schmutzig.

Positive: Location was great. Facilities were what I needed. Negative: There was an evident lack of attention to detail. The video instructions don't match the appliances which have been updated since the video was made. The place needs attention/maintenance. Bin broken, lid always open, blind broken, marks on the walls, magazines messy. I stayed in a similar place a few weeks ago in Edinburgh also, for the same money and it was well maintained.
